My Review:
The DVD of "White Christmas" has been digitally enhanced and the quality of the video and sound is excellent. The video is bright, sharp and clear with natural colors and the sound is clear and loud. The 1.78 aspect ratio seems to be good for this movie, which was Paramount's first widescreen (VistaVision) film.
The movie has a good balance of music and dancing, with most of the singing performed by Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney and the dancing by Vera Ellen and Danny Kaye. "White Christmas" also provides a comic number ("Choreography") to show off Danny Kaye's special talents.
