Andre Rienzo, pitcher, was signed by the Chicago White Sox in November, 2006. He played in their minor league system from 2007 through part of 2014. He was suspended for 50 games in 2012 for use of a banned substance. In 116 games in the minor leagues, he had a 38-28 record with a 3.46 ERA.
In 2013, Rienzo pitched 56.0 innings in 10 games with the White Sox. He finished the season with a 2-3 record and a 4.82 ERA. He finished the 2014 season with 64.2 innings pitched in 18 games. He had a 4-5 record with 51 strikeouts to 33 walks and a 6.82 ERA.
On December 11, 2014, Rienzo was traded to the Miami Marlins. He split his time in 2015 between the minors and the Marlins, pitching 19.2 innings in 14 games with Miami.
In 2016, Rienzo played only in the minor leagues. He signed a minor league contract with the San Diego Padres on December 2, 2016. He pitched only in the minor leagues in 2017.
Rienzo became a free agent on November 6, 2017. He played in the Mexican League in 2018, 2019, and 2021, and in the Mexican Pacific Winter League in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
