Brandon Workman, relief pitcher, was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in 2010. He played in their minor league system from 2011 through part of 2014. In 78 games in the minors, he had a 30-18 record with a 3.62 ERA.

In 2013, Workman pitched out of the bullpen for the Red Sox. He pitched 41.2 innings in 20 games and he finished with a 6-3 record and a 4.97 ERA. He finished the 2014 season with 87.0 innings pitched in 19 games with a 1-10 record and a 5.17 ERA.

Workman didn't play in the major leagues in 2015 and 2016. In 2017, he pitched in 33 games as a relief pitcher with the Red Sox. He had a 3.18 ERA, 1 win and 1 loss, and 37 strikeouts to 11 walks in 39.2 innings. He didn't pitch in the postseason.
