Caleb Joseph, catcher, was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in 2008. He played in their minor league system from 2008 through the beginning of 2014. He finished his minor league career with 624 hits, 131 doubles, 74 home runs, 349 RBIs, and a .268 batting average in 639 games.

Joseph played in 82 games with the Orioles in 2014. He finished the season with 51 hits, 69 strikeouts to 17 walks, and a .207 batting average. As a catcher, he made 42 assists, 539 putouts, and 4 errors in 78 games. Players had to be careful trying to steal on Joseph - he caught them 40.4% of the time. In the postseason, he had 2 hits and 1 RBI in 9 at-bats in 3 games.

Joseph became a free agent on November 30, 2018. He signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks on February 13, 2019. He spent most of the 2019 season on the DL and in the minors, playing in just 20 games with the DBacks.

Joseph elected free agency on December 2, 2019. He signed a minor league contract with the Toronto Blue Jays on January 20, 2020. He played in just 3 games in 2020.

Joseph became a free agent on October 15, 2020. He signed with the New York Mets on February 24, 2021. He was released on April 24th. He signed a minor league contract with the Seattle Mariners on May 10th. He didn't play at all in 2021.

Joseph elected free agency on November 7, 2021.

Personal Life

Joseph's brother Corban played for the New York Yankees in 2013. He now plays in the Atlanta Braves' organization.
