Chris Heisey, outfielder, was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds out of college in 2006. He played in their minor league system from 2006 through part of 2010.

Heisey joined the Reds in 2010 for 97 games. He finished the season with 51 hits and a .254 batting average. The following season, he had 71 hits, 18 home runs, 50 RBIs, and a .254 batting average in 120 games. In 2012, he had slightly better numbers, with 92 hits, 16 doubles, and a .265 batting average in 120 games.

In January, 2013, Heisey signed a one year, $1.325 million contract with the Reds. He batted .237 with 53 hits in 87 games in 2013. He finished the 2014 season with 61 hits, 15 doubles, and a .222 batting average in 119 games.

On December 2, 2014, Heisey was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers. He spent most of the 2015 season in the minors, playing in just 33 games with the Dodgers. He played in 83 games in the minors.

Heisey signed a minor league contract with the Washington Nationals on November 21, 2015. He played in 83 games with the Nationals in 2016. He finished the season with 30 hits and a .216 batting average. Defensively, he played 25 games in left field, 3 games in center field, and 16 games in right field.

Heisey and the Nationals agreed to a new one-year contract on November 19, 2016. He was released on July 30, 2017. He batted .162 in 38 games with the Nationals.

Heisey signed a minor league contract with the Minnesota Twins on February 16, 2018. He was released on March 22nd. He hasn't played professional baseball since 2017.
