Chris Tillman, pitcher, was first drafted by the Seattle Mariners in 2006 but he only played in their minor league system. In February, 2008, they traded him to the Baltimore Orioles. He continued to play in the minor leagues through most of the 2012 season, finishing his minor league career with a 51-46 win-loss record and a 3.87 ERA.

Tillman first joined the Orioles in 2009, pitching in 12 games with them that season. He pitched in 11 games in 2010, 13 games in 2011, and 15 games in 2012.

In 2013, his first full season in the major leagues, Tillman pitched 206.1 innings in 33 games. He finished the season with a 16-7 record and a 3.71 ERA.

Tillman had a strong season in 2014, finishing with a 3.34 ERA. He had a 13-6 record and 150 strikeouts to 66 walks in 207.1 innings in 34 games. He didn't do nearly as well in the postseason, pitching 9.1 innings in 2 games and giving up 11 hits and 7 runs, including 3 home runs.

Tillman pitched in 31 games with the Orioles in 2015. He finished the season with an 11-11 record, 120 strikeouts to 64 walks, and a 4.99 ERA in 173.0 innings.

Tillman finished the 2016 season with 16 wins to 6 losses, 140 strikeouts to 66 walks, and a 3.77 ERA in 172.0 innings in 30 games. In the postseason, he pitched 4.1 innings in 1 games and he gave up 4 hits and 2 runs.

Tillman pitched in 19 games as a starter and 5 games in relief in 2017. He finished the season with 1 win and 7 losses, 63 strikeouts to 51 walks, and a career high 7.84 ERA in 93.0 innings.

Tillman elected free agency on November 2, 2017. He re-signed with the Orioles on February 21, 2018. The Orioles designated him for assignment on July 20, 2018, and five days later, he elected free agency. He signed a minor league contract with the Texas Rangers on August 2nd. He spent most of the season in the minors, pitching just 26.2 innings in 7 games with the Orioles in 2018.

Tillman became a free agent on November 2, 2018. He hasn't played professional baseball in since 2018.
