Cody Asche, outfielder, was drafted in 2011 by the Philadelphia Phillies. He played in the minor leagues from 2011 through most of 2013 and he had a .287 batting average. In 2013, he played in 50 games with the Phillies, batting .235 with 38 hits, 8 doubles, and 5 home runs.

Asche finished the 2014 season with 100 hits, 25 doubles, 46 RBIs, 102 strikeouts to 33 walks, and a .252 batting average in 121 games. Defensively, as a third baseman, he made 206 assists, 18 double plays, 59 putouts, and 16 errors in 112 games.
