David Lough, outfielder, was first drafted by the Kansas City Royals in 2007. After almost six years in the minor leagues, he was called up to the Royals in 2012 for 20 games. He finished his minor league career with a .297 batting average.

In 2013, Lough played in 96 games with the Royals. He batted .286 with 90 hits, 17 doubles, and 33 RBIs. As a right fielder, he made 124 putouts and 1 error with a .992 fielding percentage in 74 games.

In December, 2013, the Royals traded Lough to the Baltimore Orioles. He finished the 2014 season with 43 hits and a .247 batting average in 112 games. Defensively, he made 102 putouts with one error in 85 games as a left fielder. He had no hits in one at-bat in two games in the postseason.

Lough signed a minor league contract with the Detroit Tigers on February 7, 2017. He was released on May 17th. He signed a minor league contract with the Cleveland Indians on May 23rd. He spent most of the 2017 season on the DL and in the minors.

Lough elected free agency on November 6, 2017. He hasn't played professional baseball since 2017.
