Erasmo Ramirez, relief pitcher for the Seattle Mariners, started playing baseball while he was in school in El Salvador. He signed with the Mariners in September, 2007. He played in their minor league system from 2008 through 2013, finishing with a 45-24 record, 501 strikeouts to 111 walks, and a 3.27 ERA in 109 games.
In 2012, Ramirez joined the Mariners for 16 games. He pitched 59.0 innings and he finished the season with a 1-3 record and a 3.36 ERA.
