Everth Cabrera, shortstop, started his professional baseball career with the Colorado Rockies, playing in their minor league system from 2005 through 2008. He was acquired by the San Diego Padres in December, 2008.

Cabrera had his first season in the major leagues in 2009 when he played in 103 games with the Padres. That season, he batted .255 with 96 hits, 18 doubles, and 25 stolen bases.

Cabrera had only limited playing time with the Padres in 2010 and 2011, playing in just 78 games with the Padres over those two seasons (76 games in 2010, 2 games in 2011). The rest of his time during those seasons was spent in the minors.

In 2012, Cabrera batted .246 with 44 stolen bases in 115 games. He was suspended for 50 games in 2013 over his involvement in PEDs and the Biogenesis lab. He played in 95 games and batted .283 with 108 hits, 15 doubles, and 37 stolen bases in 2013. He finished the 2014 season with 83 hits, 18 stolen bases, and a .232 batting average in 90 games.

Cabrera signed a one-year contract with the Baltimore Orioles on February 25, 2015. After 29 games with the Orioles in 2015, he was released on June 13th. He signed a minor league contract with the San Francisco Giants on July 16th. He was released by the Giants on September 1st.

Cabrera didn't play in the major leagues in 2016. He signed a minor league contract with the Chicago White Sox on January 7, 2017. He was released on July 14, 2017, after playing in 55 games in the minors.

Cabrera played in the Mexican League in 2018. He hasn't played professional baseball since 2018.
