Gregor Blanco, outfielder, first signed with the Atlanta Braves in 2000. He played in the Braves' minor league system from 2002 through 2007.

Blanco joined the Braves in 2008, playing in 144 games with them that season. He batted .251 with 108 hits. The next year, he was back in the minors, playing in just 24 games with the Braves in 2009. The Braves traded him to the Kansas City Royals in July, 2010. He batted .283 with 67 hits in 35 games with the Braves and 49 games with the Royals in 2010.

After more than a month in the Royals' minor league system in 2011, Blanco was traded to the Washington Nationals. He then spent the rest of the season in the Nationals' minor league system. During the 2011 off-season, he played in the Venezuelan Winter League and he was named the league's MVP.

In November, 2011, Blanco signed a minor league contract with the San Francisco Giants. He joined the Giants' starting roster in 2012, playing in 141 games that season and finishing with 96 hits, 26 stolen bases, and a .244 batting average. He finished the 2013 season with 120 hits, 17 doubles, 14 stolen bases, and a .265 batting average in 141 games.

Blanco had 102 hits, 18 doubles, 16 stolen bases, and a .260 batting average in 2014. In the postseason, he had 11 hits, 1 double, 1 home run, and 5 RBIs in 72 at-bats in 17 games.

Blanco played in 115 games with the Giants in 2015. He finished the season with 95 hits, 19 doubles, and a .291 batting average. Defensively, he played 38 games in left field, 44 games in center field, and 22 games in right field.

Blanco batted .224 in 106 games with the Giants in 2016. Defensively, he played 29 games in left field, 18 games in center field, and 34 games in right field. In 4 postseason games, he batted .125 with 1 hit and 1 RBI in 8 at-bats.

Blanco became a free agent on November 3, 2016. He signed a minor league contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks on January 18, 2017. Blanco elected free agency on November 2, 2017. He rejoined the Giants on a minor league contract on June 7, 2018. He split his time in 2018 between the Giants and the minor leagues. In 68 games with the Giants, he had 41 hits and a .217 batting average. Defensively, he played 34 games in left field, 23 games in center field, and 11 games in right field.

Blanco became a free agent on October 29, 2018. He signed a minor league contract with the New York Mets on December 21, 2018. He spent the 2019 season in the minors.

Blanco became a free agent on November 4, 2019. He didn't play professional baseball in 2020 and 2021.
