Kevin Correia, starting pitcher, was first drafted by the San Francisco Giants in 2002. From 2003 through 2005, he spent most of his time pitching in the minor leagues. During that time, he also pitched in 38 games for the Giants, both as a starting pitcher and as a relief pitcher. In 2006, he pitched 69.2 innings in 48 games with the Giants.

In 2008, Correia was primarily a starting pitcher with the Giants, pitching 110.0 innings in 25 games. He finished the season with a 3-8 record and a 6.05 ERA.

Correia signed a minor league contract with the San Diego Padres in December, 2008. The following season, after being added to the Padres' starting rotation, he pitched a career high 198.0 innings in 33 games. He finished the 2009 season with a 12-11 record and a 3.91 ERA. In December, 2009, he signed a one-year, $3 million contract with the Padres.

Correia left the Padres after the 2010 season and he signed a two-year, $8 million contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates in December, 2010. After two seasons with the Pirates, he left and joined the Twins, signing a two-year, $10 million contract with them in December, 2012. In 2013, he pitched in 31 games with the Twins and he finished the season with a 9-13 record and a 4.18 ERA.

The Dodgers acquired Correia from the Twins on August 10, 2014. He finished the 2014 season with a 7-17 record, 79 strikeouts to 40 walks, and a 5.44 ERA in 23 games with the Twins and 9 games with the Dodgers. He did not play in the playoffs with the Dodgers.

On March 9, 2015, Correia signed a minor league contract with the Seattle Mariners. He was released by the Mariners at the end of March. He signed with the Phillies on June 8th. After just five games with the Phillies, they designated him for assignment on July 7th.

Correia hasn't played professional baseball since 2015.
