Kyle Kendrick, retired starting pitcher, was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in 2003. After four seasons in the minor leagues, he was called up to the Phillies in 2007 for 20 games. That season, he pitched 121.0 innings and he had a 10-4 record with a 3.87 ERA. The next year, he had an 11-9 record and a 5.49 ERA in 31 games. In 2009, he was sent back to the minors, playing in just 9 games with the Phillies.
In 2010, Kendrick was back in the Phillies' starting rotation, pitching 180.2 innings in 33 games. He finished that season with a 4.73 ERA and an 11-10 record. In 2013, he pitched 182.0 innings in 30 games and he had a 10-13 record with a 4.70 ERA. He finished the 2014 season with a 10-13 record, 121 strikeouts to 57 walks, and a 4.61 ERA in 199.0 innings in 32 games.
Kendrick signed a one-year contract with the Colorado Rockies on February 4, 2015. He finished the 2015 season with a 7-13 record, 80 strikeouts to 45 walks, and a 6.32 ERA in 142.1 innings in 27 games.
Kendrick signed with the Atlanta Braves on January 7, 2016. He was released by the team on March 12, 2016. He signed with the Los Angeles Angels on April 23rd. He spent the entire 2016 season in the minors.
Kendrick became a free agent on November 7, 2016. He signed a minor league contract with the Boston Red Sox on January 18, 2017. He spent most of the 2017 season in the minor leagues, pitching in just two games with the Red Sox.
Kendrick retired after the 2017 season.
