Leury Garcia, second baseman for the Chicago White Sox, originally signed with the Texas Rangers in 2007. He played in the Rangers' minor league system from 2008 through August, 2013, when he was traded to the White Sox. He finished his minor league career with the Rangers with 476 hits, 144 RBIs, 158 stolen bases, and a .261 batting average in 483 games.

In 2013, Garcia had 10 hits and a .198 batting average in 25 games with the Rangers and 20 games with the White Sox. He finished the 2014 season with 24 hits, 11 stolen bases, 48 strikeouts to 5 walks, and a .166 batting average in 74 games. Defensively, he played three infield positions (second base, third base, shortstop) and all three outfield positions. He also pitched in one game.

Garcia played in just 18 games with the White Sox in 2015. He spent most of the 2016 season back in the minors, again playing in just 18 games with the White Sox.
