Mike Olt, third baseman, was first drafted by the Texas Rangers in 2010. During his three and a half years with the Rangers (2010-July, 2013), he played in only 16 games with them in 2012. The rest of his time was spent in the minor leagues.

In July, 2013, Olt was traded to the Chicago Cubs. He played all of the 2013 season in the minor leagues. He finished the 2014 season with 36 hits, 100 strikeouts to 25 walks, and a .160 batting average in 89 games with the Cubs. Defensively, as a third baseman, he made 72 assists, 20 putouts, and 7 errors in 52 games.

The Cubs designated Olt for assignment on August 31, 2015. He was claimed off waivers by the Chicago White Sox five days later. In 2015, he played in 6 games with the Cubs and 24 games with the White Sox, spending the rest of the season in the minor leagues.

The White Sox released Olt on March 15, 2016. Two days later, he signed with the San Diego Padres. He spent the 2016 season in the minors.

Olt became a free agent on November 7, 2016. He signed a minor league contract with the Boston Red Sox on February 18, 2017. He spent the entire 2017 season in the minors.

Olt became a free agent again on November 6, 2017. He signed again with the Red Sox on December 27, 2017. He spent the 2018 season back in the minors.

Olt elected free agency on November 2, 2018. He signed a minor league contract with the Minnesota Twins on January 28, 2019. He was released on March 28th. He then signed with a Mexican League team and played with them until he was released on July 15th. He also played in an independent league in 2019.

Olt hasn't played professional baseball since 2019.
