Moises Sierra, outfielder, was first signed by the Toronto Blue Jays in December, 2005. He played in the Blue Jays' minor league system from 2006 through most of 2013, finishing with 692 hits, 119 doubles, 334 RBIs, and a .266 batting average in 716 games.
Sierra joined the Blue Jays for 49 games in 2012 and 35 games in 2013. After 13 games with the Blue Jays in 2014, they designated him for assignment. Two days later, he was claimed by the Chicago White Sox. He finished the 2014 season with 37 hits and a .230 batting average in 13 games with the Blue Jays and 83 games with the White Sox.
Sierra was claimed off waivers by the Kansas City Royals on October 24, 2014. He was released on July 22, 2015. He signed with the Miami Marlins on December 31, 2015. He spent the 2015 through 2017 seasons in the minors.
Sierra became a free agent on November 6, 2017. He signed a minor league contract with the Washington Nationals on January 10, 2018. He spent most of the 2018 season in the minors, playing in just 27 games with the Nationals.
Sierra elected free agency on October 2, 2018. He played in the Mexican League in 2019, and in the Japanese League in 2020.
Sierra played in the Mexican League in 2021. After the season ended, he played in the Dominican Winter League and the Caribbean Series. He was signed by a team in the independent Atlantic League for the 2022 season.
