Nick Tepesch, pitcher, was first drafted in 2007 by the Boston Red Sox but he opted instead for college. Three years later, he was drafted by the Texas Rangers. He played in the Rangers' minor league system from 2011 through part of 2013, finishing with a 25-12 record, 294 strikeouts to 88 walks, and a 3.45 ERA in 67 games.

In 2013, Tepesch pitched 93.0 innings in 19 games with the Rangers. He finished the 2013 season with a 4-6 record and a 4.84 ERA. He had a 5-11 record in 2014 in 126.0 innings in 23 games. He had 56 strikeouts to 44 walks and a 4.36 ERA.

Tepesch pitched in 23 games with the Rangers in 2014. He finished the season with a 5-11 record, 56 strikeouts to 44 walks, and a 4.36 ERA in 126.0 innings. He spent all of the 2015 season on the DL.

Tepesch was released by the Rangers on June 4, 2016. Two days later, he signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Less than a month later, on July 18th, he was claimed off waivers by the Kansas City Royals. The only game he played in the majors in 2016 was the one game with the Dodgers.

Tepesch became a free agent on November 7, 2016. He signed a minor league contract with the Minnesota Twins on January 11, 2017. He was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays on July 24, 2017. He was designated for assignment on September 2nd. He finished the 2017 season with 1 win and 2 losses, 9 strikeouts to 9 walks, and a 5.17 ERA in 1 game with the Twins and 3 games with the Blue Jays.

Tepesch elected free agency on October 6, 2017. He signed a minor league contract with the Blue Jays on March 3, 2018. He was traded to the Tigers on August 9, 2018. He was released on August 27th. He pitched only in the minors in 2018.

Tepesch played in the American Association in 2019. He hasn't played professional baseball since 2019.
