Paul Maholm

Paul Maholm was first drafted in 2003 by the Pittsburgh Pirates. He pitched in the Pirates' minor league system from 2003 through 2005, joining the Pirates for six games in 2005.
In 2006, his first full season in the major leagues, Maholm pitched 176.0 innings in 30 games and he had an 8-10 record with a 4.76 ERA. Two years later, he pitched a career high 206.1 innings in 31 games and he finished the 2008 season with a 3.71 ERA. After that season ended, he signed a three-year, $14.5 million contract extension with the Pirates.
Maholm left the Pirates after the 2011 season and he signed a one-year, $4.75 million contract with the Chicago Cubs in January, 2012. He only pitched with the Cubs for four months before they traded him at the end of July, 2012, to the Atlanta Braves. He finished the 2012 season with a career high 13 wins in 21 games with the Cubs and 11 games with the Braves.
Maholm pitched 153.0 innings in 26 games with the Braves in 2013. He finished the season with a 10-11 record and a 4.41 ERA.
In February, 2014, Maholm signed a one-year, $1.5 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He had injuries that limited his playing time in 2014. In 30 games as both a starting pitcher and a relief pitcher, he had a 1-5 record, 34 strikeouts to 28 walks, and a 4.84 ERA.
Maholm signed a minor league contract with the Reds on February 1, 2015. He was released on March 30, 2015. He hasn't played professional baseball since 2014.
