Reid Brignac, retired infielder, was first drafted as a shortstop by the Tampa Bay Rays in 2004. He played in the Rays' minor league system from 2004 through most of 2009, joining the Rays for 4 games in 2008 and 31 games in 2009.
Brignac played in 113 games with the Rays in 2010, the only season in which he didn't play at all in the minors. He finished the 2010 season with 77 hits, 13 doubles, 8 home runs, 45 RBIs, and a .256 batting average. The following season, he batted just .193 in 92 games. He spent most of the 2012 season in the minor leagues, playing in just 16 games with the Rays.
In February, 2013, Brignac was traded to the Colorado Rockies. After 29 games with the Rockies in 2013, he was traded to the New York Yankees. On June 21, 2013, he was designated for assignment and five days later, he signed a minor league contract with the Rockies.
Brignac signed a minor league contract for the 2014 season with the Philadelphia Phillies in November, 2013. He finished the 2014 season with just 18 hits in 37 games.
Brignac signed a minor league contract with the Miami Marlins on November 19, 2014. He spent most of the 2015 season in the minors, playing in just 17 games with the Marlins.
Brignac signed with the Atlanta Braves on November 5, 2015. The Braves designated him for assignment on May 27, 2016, after playing in just 13 games with them.
Brignac became a free agent on October 3, 2016. He signed a minor league contract with the Houston Astros on December 9, 2016. He spent the 2017 season in the minors.
Brignac elected free agency on November 6, 2017. He signed a minor league contract with the Washington Nationals on January 31, 2018. He was released on March 24, 2018. He retired in July, 2018.
