Robbie Grossman, outfielder for the Minnesota Twins, was first drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2008. After playing in the Pirates' minor league system from 2008 through July, 2012, the Pirates traded him to the Houston Astros. He continued playing in the minor leagues through most of 2013.
Grossman played in 63 games with the Astros in 2013. He finished the season with 69 hits, 14 doubles, and a .268 batting average. He finished the 2014 season with 84 hits, 14 doubles, 37 RBIs, 105 strikeouts to 55 walks, and a .233 batting average in 103 games.
