Tyler Skaggs, starting pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels, was first drafted by the Angels in 2009. He played in their minor league system from 2009 until July, 2010, when they traded him to the Arizona Diamondbacks. He then pitched in the Diamondbacks' minor league system through most of the 2013 season. He finished his minor league career with a 33-27 win-loss record and a 3.34 ERA in 97 games.
Skaggs pitched in six games with the Diamondbacks in 2012 and in seven games in 2013. In December, 2013, Arizona traded him back to the Angels.
