Wily Peralta, pitcher for the Washington Nationals, was signed by the Milwaukee Brewers as a free agent in 2006. He pitched in the Brewer's minor league system in 2006 but he didn't play at all in 2007. He then went back to the minors in 2008 and pitched there through most of the 2012 season, joining the Brewers for six games that year. He finished his minor league career with a 33-35 record and a 3.99 ERA.

In 2013, Peralta pitched 183.1 innings in 32 games with the Brewers. He finished the 2013 season with an 11-15 record, 129 strikeouts to 73 walks, and a 4.37 ERA. He pitched 198.2 innings in 32 games in 2014, finishing the season with a 17-11 record, 154 strikeouts to 61 walks, and a 3.53 ERA.

Peralta pitched in 20 games with the Brewers in 2015. He finished the season with a 5-10 record, 60 strikeouts to 37 walks, and a 4.72 ERA in 108.2 innings.

In 2016, Peralta had a 4.86 ERA in 23 games. He finished the season with 7 wins to 11 losses and 93 strikeouts to 43 walks in 127.2 innings.

Peralta finished the 2017 season with 5 wins and 4 losses, 52 strikeouts to 32 walks, and a 7.85 ERA in 57.1 innings in 19 games.

Peralta elected free agency on October 3, 2017. He signed with the Kansas City Royals on December 5, 2017. He finished the 2018 season with 1 win and no losses, 14 saves, 35 strikeouts to 23 walks, and a 3.67 ERA in 34.1 innings in 37 games. He also pitched in 18 games in the minors.

The Royals designated Peralta for assignment on July 20, 2019. He elected free agency on July 24th. He finished the 2019 season with 2 wins and 4 losses, 2 saves, 24 strikeouts to 19 walks, and a 5.80 ERA in 40.1 innings in 42 games.

Peralta played only in the Dominican Winter League in 2020. He signed a minor league contract with the Detroit Tigers on February 19, 2021. He spent time on the IL in 2021 with a finger blister. He finished the season with 4 wins and 5 losses, 58 strikeouts to 38 walks, and a 3.07 ERA in 93.2 innings in 19 games.

Peralta became a free agent on November 3, 2021. He re-signed with the Tigers on March 16, 2022. He was released on August 22nd.

Peralta signed a minor league contract with the Nationals on February 3, 2023.
