Ben Paulsen, infielder, was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in 2009. He played in the Rockies' minor league system from 2009 through most of 2014. During that time, he had 709 hits, 150 doubles, 33 triples, 83 home runs, 394 RBIs, and 637 strikeouts to 217 walks in 670 games. Defensively, as a third baseman, he made 357 assists, 542 double plays, 5,325 putouts, and 49 errors in 606 games.

Paulsen joined the Rockies for 31 games in 2014. In those games, he had four doubles and four home runs. He also had 10 RBIs and a .317 batting average.

Paulsen batted .277 in 116 games with the Rockies in 2015. He finished the season with 90 hits, 19 doubles, and 49 RBIs. As a first baseman in 91 games, he made 48 assists, 63 double plays, 660 putouts, and 3 errors.

Paulsen spent most of the 2016 season in the minors, playing in just 39 games with the Rockies. Defensively, he played 23 games at first base and 7 games in left field.

Paulsen became a free agent on November 7, 2016. He signed a minor league contract with the Minnesota Twins on December 3, 2016. After 22 games in the minors, he was released on May 15, 2017.

Paulsen hasn't played professional baseball since 2017.
