Brandon Beachy, starting pitcher, was first signed by the Atlanta Braves in July, 2008. He pitched in the Braves' minor league system from 2008 through most of 2010, joining the Braves for 3 games in 2010.
In 2011, Beachy pitched in a career high 25 games with the Braves. He finished the season with a 3.68 ERA, 7-3 record, and 169 strikeouts to 46 walks in 141.2 innings. The following year, his season was ended after 13 games when he had Tommy John surgery. He spent most of the 2013 season recovering from the surgery, pitching in just five games with the Braves.
Beachy had Tommy John surgery for the second time in March, 2014. He missed the entire 2014 season due to the surgery.
On February 21, 2015, Beachy signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He started the 2015 season on the DL, recovering from his surgery. After just two games with the Dodgers, he was designated for assignment on July 30th.
Beachy signed a new one-year, $1.5 million contract with the Dodgers on January 6, 2016. He spent the 2016 season on the DL.
Beachy became a free agent on October 13, 2016. He didn't play professional baseball in 2017 and 2018.
Beachy signed with the San Francisco Giants on February 1, 2019. The Giants released him on July 26, 2019. He spent the season on the DL and in the minors.
Beachy played with an independent league team in 2020. He didn’t play professional baseball in 2021.
