Yolmer Sanchez, infielder for the Chicago White Sox, signed with the team in May, 2009. He played in their minor league system from 2009 through most of 2014. During that time, he had 528 hits, 80 doubles, 74 stolen bases, 192 RBIs, and 339 strikeouts to 175 walks in 497 games. Defensively, he played 250 games at second base, 192 games at shortstop, 52 games at third base, and 1 game at first base.

Sanchez joined the White Sox for 28 games in 2014. He had 25 hits and a .250 batting average in those games. He played in 120 games in 2015 and he finished with 87 hits, 23 doubles, 31 RBIs, and a .268 batting average.
