Chris Dominguez, infielder, was drafted by both the Texas Rangers (in 2005) and the Colorado Rockies (in 2008) before signing with the San Francisco Giants in 2009. He played in the Giants' minor league system from 2009 through 2014. During that time, he had 714 hits, 138 doubles, 91 home runs, 64 stolen bases, 420 RBIs, and 702 strikeouts to 128 walks in 689 games. As a third baseman, he made 799 assists, 88 double plays, 255 putouts, and 84 errors in 435 games.

Dominguez joined the Giants for eight games in 2014. He hit his first major league home run on September 21, 2014.

The Giants released Dominguez on February 4, 2015. Seven days later, he signed a minor league contract with the Cincinnati Reds. He spent most of the 2015 season in the minors, playing in just 14 games with the Reds.

Dominguez signed with the Boston Red Sox on December 15, 2015. He spent the entire 2016 season in the minor leagues.

Dominguez became a free agent on November 7, 2016. He signed a minor league contract with the Chicago Cubs on January 16, 2017. He spent the 2017 season in the minors.

Dominguez elected free agency on November 6, 2017. He signed a minor league contract with the Washington Nationals on December 22, 2017. He spent the 2018 season in the minors.

Dominguez became a free agent on November 2, 2018. He signed a minor league contract with the Nationals on March 14, 2019, and he was released two months later, on May 25th. He spent the season on the DL and in the minors.

Dominguez hasn't played professional baseball since 2019.
