Daniel Robertson, outfielder, was first drafted in 2008 by the San Diego Padres. He played in the Padres' minor league system from 2008 until April, 2014, when they traded him to the Texas Rangers. As a minor league player, he batted .303 with 827 hits, 149 doubles, 314 RBIs, 133 stolen bases, and 316 strikeouts to 312 walks in 731 games. Defensively, he played 240 games in right field, 278 games in center field, and 172 games in left field.

Robertson played in 70 games with the Rangers in 2014. He batted .271 with 48 hits, nine of which were doubles. On November 20, 2014, he was traded to the Los Angeles Angels.

Robertson played in just 37 games with the Angels in 2015. During that time, he batted .271 with 21 hits. Defensively, he played 27 games in left field, 7 games in center field, and 1 game in right field. He also played in 62 games in the minor leagues.

On November 6, 2015, Robertson was claimed off waivers by the Seattle Mariners. He spent most of the 2016 season in the minors, playing in just nine games with the Mariners.

Robertson signed a minor league contract with the Cleveland Indians on November 23, 2016. He was released by the Indians on August 10, 2017. Five days later, he signed a new minor league contract with the Indians. He played in 32 games with the Indians in 2017.

Robertson became a free agent on September 1, 2017. He signed a minor league contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks on February 21, 2018. He was released on August 3rd. He played in the minor leagues and in the independent Atlantic League in 2018.

Robertson played in the American Association in 2019. He didn't play professional baseball in 2020 and 2021.
