Danny Muno, infielder, was a top player in college when he was first drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 2010. He decided to finish his college education instead of signing with the Cubs but he did sign with the New York Mets when they drafted him a year later.
Muno played in the Mets' minor league system from 2011 through 2014. During that time, he had 364 hits, 79 doubles, 192 RBIs, and 271 strikeouts to 245 walks in 384 games. Defensively, he played 246 games at second base, 108 games at shortstop, and 47 games at third base.
Muno joined the Mets for 17 games in 2015. He played the rest of the season in the minors. He spent the entire 2016 season in the minors.
Muno became a free agent on November 7, 2016. He signed a minor league contract with the Detroit Tigers on February 20, 2017. He was released on March 28th. He signed a minor league contract with the Seattle Mariners on May 11th. He spent the entire 2017 and 2018 seasons in the minors.
Muno became a free agent on November 2, 2018. He hasn't played professional baseball since 2018.
