Domingo Santana, outfielder, is following in his father's footsteps. His father, also named Domingo, was a minor league outfielder and pitcher with the Astros. The younger Santana first signed with the Philadelphia Phillies in March, 2009. After two and a half years in the Phillies' minor league system, he was traded to the Houston Astros on July 31, 2011.

Santana first joined the Astros for six games in 2014. After 14 games with the Astros in 2015, he was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers on July 30th. He played in 38 games with the Brewers. He also played in 95 games in the minors.

In 2016, Santana batted .256 in 77 games with the Brewers. He had 63 hits, 14 doubles, and 32 RBIs. Defensively, as the Brewers' right fielder in 62 games, he made 104 putouts and 2 errors.

Santana played in his first full season with the Brewers in 2017 and he had a good season. He finished the season with 146 hits, 29 doubles, 30 home runs, 15 stolen bases, 85 RBIs, 178 strikeouts to 73 walks, and a .278 batting average. Defensively, as the Brewers' right fielder in 144 games, he made 224 putouts and 5 errors.

Santana finished the 2018 season with 56 hits, 14 doubles, 77 strikeouts to 20 walks, and a .265 batting average in 85 games. Defensively, as a right fielder in 55 games, he made 82 putouts and 1 error. In the postseason, he had 2 hits, 1 double, 1 stolen base, and 3 RBIs in 10 games. He struck out five times and walked twice.

The Brewers traded Santana to the Seattle Mariners on December 21, 2018. He spent time on the DL in 2019 with right elbow inflammation. He finished the season with 114 hits, 20 doubles, 21 home runs, 69 RBIs, 164 strikeouts to 50 walks, and a .253 batting average in 121 games. Defensively, he played 59 games in left field and 42 games in right field and he made 184 putouts and 12 errors.

Santana became a free agent on December 2, 2019. He signed with the Cleveland Indians on February 14, 2020. He played in just 24 games with the Indians in 2020.

Santana elected free agency on October 30, 2020. He played in Japan in 2021.
