Elian Herrera, retired utility player, was first signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2006. He played in the Dodgers' minor league system from 2006 through 2014. During that time, he batted .286 with 696 hits, 118 doubles, 288 RBIs, 154 stolen bases, and 542 strikeouts to 287 walks in 698 games. In 2009, he stole 43 bases in 112 games. Defensively, he played 326 games at second base, 86 games at third base, 67 games at shortstop, 107 games in center field, and 124 games in left field.

Herrera first joined the Dodgers in 2012, playing in 67 games with them. He batted .251 with 47 hits. The following season, he played in just 4 games with the Dodgers.

The Milwaukee Brewers claimed Herrera off waivers on November 4, 2013. In 2014, he played in 69 games with the team and he batted .274 with 37 hits. Defensively, he played every infield and outfield position except for first base.

Herrera played in 83 games with the Brewers in 2015. He finished the season with 62 hits, 18 doubles, and a .242 batting average. Defensively, he played 36 games at second base and 47 games at third base and he made 171 assists, 78 putouts, and 9 errors.

On December 17, 2015, Herrera signed a minor league contract to return to the Dodgers in 2016. He didn't play with the Dodgers in 2016 and he played in just 28 games in the minors before he was released on May 14, 2016.

Herrera didn't play professional baseball in 2017. He played in the Mexican League in 2018. He retired in January, 2019.
