Eury Perez, outfielder, was first signed by the Washington Nationals in April, 2007. He played in the minor leagues from 2007 through 2014. In 699 games, he batted .305 with 793 hits, 250 RBIs, 268 stolen bases, and 416 strikeouts to 169 walks. In 2010, he had 64 stolen bases in 131 games. Defensively, as a center fielder, he made 1,241 putouts with 25 errors in 585 games.
Perez first joined the Nationals in 2012 for 13 games. The following season, he played in just nine games. He was designated for assignment by the Nationals on September 18, 2014, and four days later, the New York Yankees claimed him off waivers. He played in four games with the Yankees in 2014.
On January 16, 2015, the Yankees designated Perez for assignment. The Atlanta Braves claimed him off waivers on January 23, 2015. He played in 47 games with the Braves in 2015 and he had a .269 batting average with 32 hits. He also played in 64 games in the minors.
Perez signed a minor league contract with the Houston Astros on January 1, 2016. He spent the 2016 season in the minor leagues.
Perez became a free agent on November 7, 2016. He signed a minor league contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates on December 16, 2016. He spent the entire 2017 season in the minors.
Perez elected free agency on November 6, 2017. He signed a minor league contract with the San Francisco Giants on February 23, 2018. He spent the 2018 season in the minors.
Perez became a free agent on November 2, 2018. He played in the Mexican League in 2019 until he was released on May 25th. He played only in the Dominican Winter League in 2020. He didn’t play professional baseball in 2021.
