Hanser Alberto, infielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers, was signed by the Texas Rangers in November, 2009. He played in the Rangers' minor league system from 2010 through 2014. During that time, he had 492 hits, 83 doubles, 79 stolen bases, 217 RBIs, and 164 strikeouts to 71 walks. Defensively, as a shortstop, he made 1,293 assists, 264 double plays, 695 putouts, and 88 errors.

In 2014, Alberto won the Rawlings Minor League Gold Glove award for shortstops. He had a .980 fielding percentage with 346 assists, 68 double plays, 190 putouts, and 11 errors in 114 games that season.

Alberto became a free agent on December 2, 2020. He signed a minor league contract with the Kansas City Royals on February 5, 2021. Alberto became a free agent on October 29, 2021. He signed with the Dodgers on March 23, 2022.
