Jason Bourgeois, outfielder, was first drafted by the Texas Rangers in 2000. After five years in the Rangers' minor league system, he was claimed off waivers by the Atlanta Braves in March, 2005. He spent one year in the Braves' minor league system before being acquired by the Seattle Mariners in December, 2005.

Bourgeois signed with the Chicago White Sox in December, 2006. He spent two years in their minor league system before joining them for six games in 2008. Following the 2008 season, he signed a minor league contract with the Milwaukee Brewers in November, 2008. He played in just 24 games with the Brewers in 2009.

In October, 2009, Bourgeois was claimed off waivers by the Houston Astros. He was a part-time player with the Astros in 2010 and 2011. He played in 69 games in 2010 and finished with a .220 batting average. The next year, he batted .294 with 70 hits and 31 stolen bases in 93 games.

Bourgeois was traded to the Kansas City Royals in March, 2012. That season, he played in 30 games with the Royals. After the season ended, the Royals designated him for assignment in November, 2012.

Bourgeois signed a minor league contract with the Tampa Bay Rays in December, 2012. He spent most of the 2013 season in the minors, playing in just nine games with the Rays. He was designated for assignment on August 23, 2013.

In November, 2013, Bourgeois signed a contract with the Cincinnati Reds, his sixth team in seven years. He played in just 18 games with the Reds in 2014, spending the rest of the time in the minor leagues.

Bourgeois played in 68 games with the Reds in 2015. He finished the season with 47 hits and a .240 batting average. Defensively, he played 18 games in left field, 35 games in center field, and 6 games in right field.

Bourgeois signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks on December 11, 2015. He spent the entire 2016 season in the minors.

Bourgeois became a free agent on November 7, 2016. Two months later, on January 7, 2017, he agreed to return to the White Sox on a minor league contract. He spent the 2017 season in the minors.

Bourgeois elected free agency on November 6, 2017. He played in the Mexican League in 2018. He hasn't played professional baseball since 2018.
