Jesse Hahn, pitcher, was originally drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in 2010. After spending the 2012 and 2014 seasons in the Rays' minor league system, he was traded to the San Diego Padres in January, 2014. He continued in the minor leagues for part of the 2014 season. As a minor league pitcher from 2012 through 2014, he pitched 163.1 innings in 47 games and he had a 2.26 ERA with a 6-4 record and 160 strikeouts to 48 walks.

Hahn joined the Padres for 14 games in 2014. He pitched 73.1 innings and he had a 3.07 ERA and 7-4 record.

In December, 2014, Hahn was traded to the Oakland Athletics. He spent time on the DL in 2015, playing in just 16 games with the Athletics. He finished the season with a 6-6 record, 64 strikeouts to 25 walks, and a 3.35 ERA in 96.2 innings.

Hahn split his time in 2016 between the minors and the Athletics. In 9 games with Oakland, he had a 6.02 ERA, 2 wins to 4 losses, and 23 strikeouts to 19 walks in 46.1 innings.

In 2017, Hahn had a 5.30 ERA in 14 games with the Athletics. He finished the season with 3 wins and 6 losses and 55 strikeouts to 27 walks in 69.2 innings.

The Athletics traded Hahn to the Kansas City Royals on January 28, 2018. He spent the 2018 season on the DL and in the minors.

Hahn spent most of the 2019 season on the DL, recovering from Tommy John surgery. He pitched just 4.2 innings in 6 games with the Royals.

Hahn pitched in 18 games in 2020. He finished the season with 1 win and no losses, 19 strikeouts to 8 walks, 3 saves, and a 0.52 ERA in 17.1 innings.

Hahn spent most of the 2021 season on the IL with right shoulder impingement syndrome. He pitched just 3.1 innings in 5 games.

Hahn became a free agent on November 3, 2021.
