Justin Sellers, infielder, is the son of former major league pitcher Jeff Sellers, who played with the Boston Red Sox from 1985 through 1988. The younger Sellers was first drafted by the Oakland Athletics in 2005 while he was still in high school. He played in the Athletics' minor league system from 2005 through 2008.

Sellers was traded to the Chicago Cubs on February 2, 2009. Two months later, he was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers. He continued in the Dodgers' minor league system through most of 2013.

Sellers joined the Dodgers for 36 games in 2011. During that time, he batted .203 with 25 hits. The following season, he had back surgery and he played in just 19 games with the Dodgers. In 2013, he joined the team for 27 games, spending the rest of the season in the minor leagues.

The Dodgers designated Sellers for assignment on February 22, 2014. Eight days later, he was traded to the Cleveland Indians. He spent most of the 2014 season in the minor leagues, playing in just 17 games with the Indians.

On October 25, 2014, Sellers was traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates. He didn't play in the major leagues in 2015 and he played in just 24 games in the minors. On July 30th, he was traded to the Chicago White Sox.

Sellers became a free agent on November 6, 2015. He signed a minor league contract with the San Diego Padres on February 28, 2016. Exactly one month later, he was released by the Padres. He hasn't played professional baseball since 2015.
