Logan Schafer, outfielder, was first drafted by the Boston Red Sox in 2006 but he didn't sign with them. A year later, he was drafted by the Colorado Rockies and again he didn't sign. Then in 2008, the Milwaukee Brewers drafted him and he signed with them. He played in the Brewers' minor league system from 2008 through most of 2012, joining the Brewers for 8 games in 2011 and 16 games in 2012.

In 2013, his first full season in the major leagues, Schafer batted .211 with 63 hits and 15 doubles in 134 games. Although his offensive numbers weren't very good, he shined defensively, making no errors in 97 games as an outfielder. He spent part of the 2014 season in the minor leagues, joining the Brewers for 65 games.

Schafer played in 69 games with the Brewers in 2015. During that time, he had 27 hits and a .221 batting average.

Schafer signed with the Washington Nationals on November 17, 2015. He was released by the team on March 19, 2016. He signed with the Minnesota Twins on June 2, 2016. He spent most of the 2016 season in the minors, playing in just 26 games with the Twins.

Schafer became a free agent on October 18, 2016. He signed a minor league contract with the Baltimore Orioles on December 2, 2016. He spent the entire 2017 season in the minors.

Schafer elected free agency on November 6, 2017. He hasn't played professional baseball since 2017.
