Matt Andriese, starting pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays, was first drafted in 2008 by the Texas Rangers but he opted instead for college. Three years later, he was drafted by the San Diego Padres. After three years in the Padres' minor league system, he was traded to the Rays in January, 2014.
