Michael Lorenzen, relief pitcher for the Detroit Tigers, was first drafted in 2010 by the Tampa Bay Rays but he opted instead for college. Three years later, he was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds. He pitched in the Reds' minor league system in 2013 and 2014. During that time, he pitched 141.2 innings in 46 games and he had a 5-7 record with 103 strikeouts to 57 walks.
