Rafael Ynoa, infielder, first signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2005. He played in the Dodgers' minor league system from 2006 through 2013. In November, 2013, he signed with the Colorado Rockies. He spent most of the 2014 season in the minor leagues, joining the Rockies for just 19 games. In those 19 games, he batted .343 with 6 doubles and 1 triple.

As a minor league player from 2006 through most of 2014, Ynoa batted .270 with 746 hits, 146 doubles, 125 stolen bases, 266 RBIs, and 427 strikeouts to 330 walks in 773 games. Defensively, he played 197 games at shortstop and 49 games at third base.

Ynoa played in 72 games with the Rockies in 2015. He finished the season with 33 hits and a .260 batting average. Defensively, he played 5 games at second base, 10 games at third base, 8 games at shortstop, and 19 games in left field.

Ynoa spent most of the 2016 season in the minors, playing in just 3 games with the Rockies. He signed a new minor league contract with the Rockies on December 14, 2016. He spent the 2017 season in the minors.

Ynoa elected free agency on November 6, 2017. He played in the Mexican League in 2018. He hasn't played professional baseball since 2018.
