Raisel Iglesias, pitcher for the Atlanta Braves, played in Cuba from 2010 through 2012. During that time, he had an 8-12 record, 169 strikeouts to 115 walks, and a 3.47 ERA in 223.1 innings in 88 games.

Iglesias defected from Cuba in November, 2013. Seven months later, on June 27, 2014, he signed a seven-year, $27 million contract with the Cincinnati Reds.

Iglesias pitched in 18 games with the Reds in 2015. He finished the season with a 3-7 record, 104 strikeouts to 28 walks, and a 4.15 ERA in 95.1 innings.
