Steve Clevenger, catcher, was first drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 2006. He played in the Cubs' minor league system from 2006 through 2011.

Clevenger played in two games with the Cubs in 2011. The following season, he played in 69 games and he batted .201 with 40 hits and 12 doubles during that time.

The Cubs traded Clevenger to the Baltimore Orioles in July, 2013. That season, he played in just eight games with the Cubs and four games with the Orioles. He spent part of the 2014 season in the minor leagues, playing in 66 games in the minors and 35 games with the Orioles.

Clevenger spent most of the 2015 season in the minor leagues, joining the Orioles for just 30 games. During that time, he batted .287 with 29 hits.

Clevenger was traded to the Seattle Mariners on December 2, 2015. He spent much of the 2016 season on the DL with a hand fracture. He played in just 22 games with the Mariners.

Clevenger became a free agent on November 3, 2016. He played in the independent Atlantic League in 2017. He hasn't played professional baseball since 2017.
