Taylor Featherston, infielder, was first drafted by the Colorado Rockies in 2011. He played in the Rockies' minor league system from 2011 through 2014.

On December 11, 2014, the Chicago Cubs claimed Featherston in the Rule 5 draft. However, he didn't stay with the Cubs for long. The Los Angeles Angels purchased his contract that same day. He played in both the minor leagues and with the Angels in 2015.

In 2015, his first season in the major leagues, Featherston batted just .162 in 101 games. He had 25 hits, 46 strikeouts, and 7 walks. Defensively, he played 33 games at second base, 39 games at third base, and 22 games at shortstop.

Featherston was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies on February 10, 2016. He spent most of the 2016 season in the minors, playing in just 19 games with the Phillies.

The Phillies traded Featherston to the Tampa Bay Rays on June 9, 2017. He was designated for assignment on August 28th. He spent most of the 2017 season in the minors, playing in just 17 games with the Rays.

Featherston became a free agent on October 2, 2017. He signed a minor league contract with the Minnesota Twins on December 15, 2017. He was released on June 18, 2018.

Featherston signed a minor league contract with the Cincinnati Reds on July 25, 2018. He spent the 2018 season in the minors.

Featherston became a free agent on November 2, 2018. He signed a minor league contract with the Kansas City Royals on January 3, 2019. He spent the 2019 season on the DL and in the minors.

Featherston became a free agent on November 4, 2019. He hasn't played professional baseball since 2019.
