Travis Ishikawa, infielder, was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in 2002. He played in the Giants' minor league system from 2002 through most of 2008. In 2006, he joined the Giants for 12 games and in 2008, for 33 games. He spent all of the 2007 season in the minor leagues.

In 2009, Ishikawa played in a career high 120 games with the Giants. He batted .261 with 85 hits. The next season, he batted .266 with 42 hits and 11 doubles in 116 games. He was back in the minor leagues in 2011.

Ishikawa signed a minor league contract with the Milwaukee Brewers in December, 2011. He played in 94 games with the Brewers in 2012 and he batted .257 with 39 hits and 12 doubles.

In December, 2012, Ishikawa signed a minor league contract with the Baltimore Orioles but he only played in six games with them. They designated him for assignment on June 29, 2013, and eight days later, he was claimed off waivers by the New York Yankees. After just one game with the Yankees, he was again designated for assignment. He signed a minor league contract with the Chicago White Sox on July 18, 2013, but he never played with the team.

Ishikawa signed another minor league contract in December, 2013, this time with the Pittsburgh Pirates, his sixth team in three years. After just 15 games with the Pirates in 2014, he was once more designated for assignment on April 19th. He became a free agent on April 23, 2014, and two days later, he returned to his first team, the Giants, on a minor league contract.

In 2014, Ishikawa batted .252 with 27 hits in 15 games with the Pirates and 47 games with the Giants. In the postseason, he batted .256 with 10 hits, 2 doubles, 1 home run, and 7 RBIs in 39 at-bats in 16 games.

Ishikawa and the Giants agreed to a one-year, $1.1 million contract on December 4, 2014. The Giants designated him for assignment after just six games on July 3, 2015, and two days later, he was claimed off waivers by the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played in 38 games with the Pirates.

Ishikawa signed with the Chicago White Sox on February 10, 2016. He was released on May 24th. He signed again with the Giants on June 7th. He played only in the minor leagues in 2016.

Ishikawa became a free agent on November 7, 2016. He hasn't played professional baseball since 2016.

Personal Life

Ishikawa married his wife Rochelle in 2007. They have three children.
