Adonis Garcia, infielder, played in Cuba from 2004 through 2010 before he defected in January, 2011. He then played in the Venezuelan Winter League in 2011. In April, 2012, he signed with the New York Yankees.

Garcia played in the minor leagues from 2012 through half of 2015. In 286 games, he batted .285 with 318 hits, 65 doubles, 133 RBIs, and 152 strikeouts to 57 walks. Defensively, he played 85 games at third base, 37 games in left field, 80 games in center field, and 61 games in right field.

The Yankees released Garcia on April 1, 2015. Six days later, he signed with the Atlanta Braves. He then played in 58 games with the Braves, finishing with 53 hits, 12 doubles, 10 home runs, 26 RBIs, and a .277 batting average. Defensively, he played 42 games at third base and 10 games in left field.

In 2016, his first full season in the majors, Garcia batted .273 in 134 games with the Braves. He finished the season with 145 hits, 29 doubles, 14 home runs, and 65 RBIs. Defensively, as the Braves' third baseman in 123 games, he made 199 assists, 17 double plays, 79 putouts, and 18 errors.

Garcia spent time on the DL in 2017, limiting his playing time with the Braves to 52 games. He had 41 hits and a .237 batting average. Defensively, he played 39 games at third base and 1 game in left field.

The Braves released Garcia on January 10, 2018. He didn't play professional baseball in 2018. He played in the Mexican League in 2019. He didn't play professional baseball in 2020.

Garcia played in the Venezuelan Winter League in 2021.
