Andy Wilkins, infielder, was first drafted in 2007 by the Texas Rangers but he opted instead to attend the University of Arkansas. Three years later, he was drafted by and signed with the Chicago White Sox. He stayed with the White Sox until March 29, 2015, when he was claimed off waivers by the Toronto Blue Jays. From that date until December 23, 2015, he went from team to team, landing finally with the Milwaukee Brewers, his seventh team in ten months.
On May 3, 2015, Wilkins was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers. He stayed with the Dodgers until September 6th, when he was claimed off waivers by the Baltimore Orioles. Three months later, on December 2nd, he was claimed off waivers by the Seattle Mariners, then by the Rangers on December 14th, and finally by the Brewers on December 23rd.
Wilkins played in the major leagues with the White Sox in 2014. He had just six hits in 17 games. He spent the entire 2015 season in the minors.
In 2016, Wilkins batted .125 in 26 games with the Brewers. He also played in 91 games in the minors.
Wilkins became a free agent on November 7, 2016. He played only in the minor leagues in 2017.
Wilkins elected free agency on November 6, 2017. He signed a minor league contract with the Minnesota Twins on January 25, 2018. He spent the 2018 season in the minors.
Wilkins became a free agent on November 2, 2018. He signed a minor league contract with the Atlanta Braves on January 19, 2019. He spent the 2019 season in the minors and on the DL.
Wilkins became a free agent on November 4, 2019. He hasn't played professional baseball since 2019.
