Arquimedes Caminero, relief pitcher, first signed with the Miami Marlins in 2005. He pitched in the Marlins' minor league system from 2006 through most of 2014.

Caminero first joined the Marlins for 13 games in 2013. He pitched 13.0 innings and he had a 2.77 ERA. He also pitched in 43 games in the minors. He spent most of the 2014 season in the minors, pitching just 6.2 innings in 6 games with the Marlins.

On February 4, 2015, the Marlins traded Caminero to the Pittsburgh Pirates. He spent the entire 2015 season pitching from the Pirates' bullpen. In 74.2 innings in 73 games, he had a 5-1 record, 73 strikeouts to 29 walks, and a 3.62 ERA.

Caminero was traded to the Seattle Mariners on August 6, 2016. He finished the 2016 season with a 3.56 ERA in 39 games with the Pirates and 18 games with the Mariners. He had 2 wins to 3 losses, 1 save, and 50 strikeouts to 33 walks in 60.2 innings.

The Mariners released Caminero on December 16, 2016. He played in Japan in 2017. He didn't play professional baseball in 2018.

Caminero signed a minor league contract with the New York Mets on January 3, 2019. He was released on July 12, 2019. He signed with a Mexican League team on July 19th. He played only in the minors and in the Mexican League in 2019.

Caminera played in the Dominican Winter League in 2020. He played in the Mexican League and the Dominican Winter League in 2021.
