Bryce Brentz, outfielder, was first drafted in 2007 by the Cleveland Indians but he didn't sign with them. Three years later, he was drafted by the Boston Red Sox. He played in the minor leagues from 2010 through most of 2016.

Brentz played in 9 games with the Red Sox in 2014. He spent the entire 2015 season in the minor leagues. In 2016, he batted .279 in 25 games with Boston. He also played in 66 games in the minors.

Brentz spent the 2017 season in the minors.

The Red Sox traded Brentz to the Pittsburgh Pirates on February 20, 2018. The New York Mets claimed him off waivers on March 26th. He spent the 2018 season on the DL and in the minors.

Brentz became a free agent on October 5, 2018. He rejoined the Red Sox on a minor league contract on January 10, 2019. He spent the 2019 season in the minors.

Brentz became a free agent on November 4, 2019. He hasn't played professional baseball since 2019.
