Byung Ho Park, infielder, played professional baseball in Korea from 2005 through 2015. In 868 games, he batted .281 with 773 hits, 137 doubles, 210 home runs, 604 RBIs, and 801 strikeouts to 432 walks. He won the Korean Baseball Organization's (KBO) MVP award in 2012 and 2013 and he won their All-Star Game MVP award in 2014. He won three Gold Gloves as a first baseman (2012-2014) and he led the league in home runs and RBIs from 2012 through 2015.
Park signed a four-year, $12 million contract with the Minnesota Twins on December 1, 2015. He finished the 2016 season with a 41 hits and a .191 batting average in 62 games with the Twins. Defensively, he played 24 games at first base.
The Twins designated Park for assignment on February 3, 2017. He spent the 2017 season in the minors.
The Twins released Park on December 15, 2017. He played in South Korea from 2018 through 2021.
