Cheslor Cuthbert, infielder, signed with the Kansas City Royals in 2009. He played in the Royals' minor league system from 2010 through most of 2015. In 586 games, he batted .259 with 572 hits, 121 doubles, 299 RBIs, and 407 strikeouts to 211 walks. Defensively, as a third baseman, he made 815 assists, 58 double plays, 294 putouts, and 93 errors in 492 games.

Cuthbert played in 19 games with the Royals in 2015. He hit his first major league home run on September 2nd.

In 2016, his first full season in the majors, Cuthbert batted .274 in 128 games. He finished the season with 130 hits, 28 doubles, 13 home runs, and 54 RBIs. Defensively, as the Royals' third baseman in 127 games, he made 216 assists, 77 putouts, and 16 errors.

Cuthbert finished the 2017 season with a .231 batting average in 58 games with the Royals.

Cuthbert spent time on the DL in 2018 with lower back strain. He batted .194 in 30 games with the Royals.

Cuthbert finished the 2019 season with 76 hits, 14 doubles, 40 RBIs, 67 strikeouts to 19 walks, and a .246 batting average in 87 games. Defensively, he played 46 games at first base and 40 games at third base. He also played in 51 games in the minors.

Cuthbert became a free agent on December 2, 2019. He signed a minor league contract with the Chicago White Sox on January 8, 2020. He played in just one game with the White Sox in 2020.

Cuthbert elected free agency on October 15, 2020. He signed a minor league contract with the Cincinnati Reds on December 8th. He was released by the Reds on May 31, 2021. He signed a minor league contract with the New York Mets on June 2nd. He played only in the minors in 2021.

Cuthbert became a free agent on November 7, 2021.
