Cristhian Adames, infielder, was signed by the Colorado Rockies in 2007. He played in the Rockies' minor league system from 2008 through most of 2015. In 696 games, he batted .281 with 725 hits, 118 doubles, 279 RBIs, and 447 strikeouts to 251 walks. Defensively, as a shortstop, he made 1,719 assists, 361 double plays, 879 putouts, and 100 errors in 575 games.

Adames played in 7 games with the Rockies in 2014 and in 26 games in 2015. He had 13 hits in 2015.

In 2016, Adames batted .218 in 121 games with the Rockies. Defensively, he played 11 games at second base, 11 games at third base, and 47 games at shortstop.

The Rockies designated Adames for assignment on April 30, 2017, after just 12 games with them. He spent the rest of the season in the minors.

Adames became a free agent on November 6, 2017. He signed a minor league contract with the Miami Marlins on December 15, 2017. He spent the 2018 season in the minors.

Adames elected free agency on November 2, 2018. He signed a minor league contract with the Chicago Cubs on January 23, 2019, and he was released on July, 2019. He signed a minor league contract with the San Francisco Giants on July 12th. He spent most of the 2019 season in the minors and on the DL, playing in just 10 games with the Giants.

Adames played only in the Dominican Winter League in 2020.

Adames became a free agent on November 2, 2020. He played in the Dominican Winter League in 2021.
